This new ladies ministry is really getting on track and is making a wonderful difference in our community. They visit residents in nursing homes and assisted living, take those needing a rides to the Dr., grocery shopping, make special gifts at all the holidays, and in general work hard to be a true Koinonia group. The essential meaning of the word Koinonia is the concept of "community, communion, joint participation, sharing and intimacy." Koinonia can refer to a "jointly contributed gift." All ladies are invited to to be a part of this group, which meets every other Friday in the North building, at 10:30 am. The next meetings will be held November 22nd and December 6th. You may call Judy Bulicz at 680-1896, or email her at email@example.com.
The Bible study "Experiencing God" is being taught by Sandy Van Asch at her home at 6:30 pm. Her address is 2598 West 100 South, in Hurricane. You can call Sandy at 216-2148 if you would like more information.
Saturday mornings at 9:00 am you are invited to to walk through and around our church, praying for its ministries, people who attend here, the sick, pastor and family, and our country and leaders. Call Cindy Rodinos if you have any questions, at 635-4024.
Did you know our church has a Prayer Request and Praise chain? We do, and if you are in need of prayer for anything in your life (aren't we all?) please feel you can share whatever you wish so the prayer warriors of our body can lift you up to our loving Creator and Savior. You can send your request to Leah Osiek at firstname.lastname@example.org and she will send it to everyone on the prayer chain. If you would like to be a part of praying for others on the prayer chain, just let Leah know your email address. You will be so blest!!
Join us each Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm in the sanctuary for corporate prayer and desert. As the Pastor Search Team continues to work diligently to find the man that the Lord has chosen to be our shepherd, they ask for prayer for wisdom and discernment. In addition we will be praying for the many needs of our congregation and their families. Call Denise Pizzino at 635-8720 for more information.
